How fast does light travel through mica?
If your table of refractive indices does not include mica, go google “mica refractive index”–I’ll bet you get some hits. Divide c by the refractive index (in case you didn’t know that already). –The bad news is that you can find different values from1.4 to 1.5 to 1.6 to “over 2.5”. So apparently it depends on precisely what kind of mica.
