ColCount will typically count each dish in 10 seconds – this includes the time taken to swap dishes and the drawer open/close cycle! The speed at which the transferred image is processed is entirely dictated by the raw processing efficiency of the PC processor. We recommend PCs based on the AMD AthlonXP processor, which is best suited to the FPU-intensive processing requirements of the ColCount algorithm.
