How far is too far with matching items in a bathroom accessory set?
A. Well it depends on a number of things. In particular how large the room is and therefore how close together the items are. A lot of items matching can be overpowering in a small bathroom but would not be a problem in a large one. In any case, it almost always looks good to have matching soap dish, toothbrush holder, toilet roll holder and lotion bottle so I wouldn’t worry about going that far in any bathroom. And you can generally have a matching wastebasket because that is down on the floor and separated from the other items. Where you have to take care especially in a small room is if you have all your curtains or blinds, shower curtains, towels and the bath accessories I listed above all matching – that would be a step too far in my opinion but it’s also a question of what you like.
