How far is the town and is there a grocery store?
It is 8 miles to Road Town, there is a large grocery store there, Riteway and right next to it is Cash and Carry which is a ‘Costco’ type store for discount beverages, etc. There is also a great little store for fresh produce and very good frozen fish, chicken, and meats in town called Supa Value. They are both on the main road through town, from the house you go around the round-about, Supa Valu is on the left, past the only red light in town is Riteway and Cash and Carry on the left. We usually go to town once a week to stock up on basics but there is a great little store in Soper’s Hole Marina, right near the house, Harbour Market, also has many gourmet items. A little pricey but very useful. It also has a deli and makes fresh bread daily. At the bottom of Zion Hill road, take a right on Queens Hwy (known as the low road) to the sign for Soper’s hole, turn left, go over a small bridge and turn right into marina area.
