How far is the closest bathing beach?
Penn Lann is a cove with a small beach about ten minutes drive from the gites. Damgan is a proper but uncommercialised resort 15 minutes drive from the gites. We and most locals prefer the eastern end called Kervoyal, where there are sand, rockpools, gaily painted boats and a wonderful view of the bay. Bathing is best at each side of high tide. Further afield there’s a huge choice of beaches and coastal attractions.
