The city centre is 11 km (6 – 7 miles) from Jacksons Airport and can be accessed by rental car or taxi. A taxi fare will cost approximately PGK25-30 one way. As most taxi’s do not have meters it is wise to ask what the fare will be before travelling. You may even be able to negotiate a cheaper fare.
