How far is Karlsruhe,Germany, to Lake Garda,Italy?
It depends on where you want to go on Garda; it’s a long lake. If you’re driving, it’s about 6 hours from Karlsruhe to Riva Del Garda (592 km). If you’re going to Sirmione, you can add roughly a half hour (it’s 654 km). Salò is also about 6 and a half hours via a different route (651 km). You can work out driving routes and times here: http://www.viamichelin.com/viamichelin/i… In actual practice, the driving time will probably be longer depending on how many stops you make along the way and traffic conditions. Most options by train will be 9 to 10 hours connecting in either Milan or Munich and Verona. There are two train stations on the south end of the lake – Desenzano and Peschiera del Garda. I live about an hour south of the lake and can highly recommend a visit.
