How far is Halo into the future?
It’s not known yet how far exactly Halo is into the future but judging that the Humans are capable of advanced space travel, and that they use cybernetic armor in battle, it’s safe to say they’re at least a century into the future. What the heck is the halo? The halo is a gigantic energy-based wall in the shape of a ring which contains about 10,000 square miles of terrain ready for you to do battle inside it. The covenant occupy the Halo. Is the character really human? It is most likely that the hero of the game (your player) is not 100% human but is a cyborg contained in powered-armor suit, that means a half-man, half-machine marine in a nice sheet of armor with technologically advanced weaponry and equipment. Why do the Covenant hate the humans so much? Based on previous Bungie games, some have assumed the Covenant have such a passion for taking out humans because in their type of religion, the Humans are seen as the devil, however it might also just be a quest for power.
