How far in advance do I need to secure a lecture date?
Our College Outreach Program speakers are in very high demand, and dates for the fall and spring semesters fill up quickly! To be safe, you should try to request your lecture date several months in advance. This doesn’t mean that we can’t coordinate an event on shorter notice, but it will make it more difficult to accommodate your preferred date. Keep in mind that the most successful lectures generally take at least six-eight weeks to plan from start to finish. For a Pregnancy Resource Forum, you need to allow your student group at least two-three months to plan. To ensure that your group gets the lecture date requested, the College Outreach Program Coordinator MUST receive a signed Student Agreement Form from you SIX WEEKS BEFORE YOUR LECTURE. To get this form and access to our lecture planning kits, contact FFL’s College Outreach Coordinator at coordinator@ffloncampus.org.
