How far does the Lightning SwitchTM transmit?
The answers are different depending on which Lightning Transmitter and Receiver are used. Lightning Systems using Lightning Home Grade Receivers: Used with Mid-Range Toggle Transmitter – 45 feet (14 meters) through obstructions in 95% of installations/actuations Used with All other Lightning Transmitters – 75 feet (23 meters) through obstructions in 95% of installations/actuations Lightning Systems using Lightning Professional Grade Receivers: Used with Mid-Range Toggle Transmitter – 45 feet (14 meters) through obstructions in 99% of installations/actuations – 60 feet (18 meters) through obstructions in 95% of installations/actuations Used with All other Lightning Transmitters – 75 feet (23 meters) through obstructions in 99% of installations/actuations – 100 feet (30 meters) through obstructions in 95% of installations/actuations – Up to 150-200 feet (45-75 meters) through Air By “obstructions”, we mean walls, doors, floors, etc… even when they are constructed of brick or concrete.
