How far do you think WSX could have gotten if they never got cancelled?
Not very far, I am telling you. The few episodes I watched I knew exactly why the fed was doomed. 1) It was run by MTV and seriously they have a lot of stuff going on besides just wrestling. WSX was just nothing more than a line in their book. 2) MTV’s target audience is the general public, which obviously includes non-wrestling fans. If they were to choose between an episode of “Cribs” and an episode of a fifth-rate wrestling federation they would most probably pick “Cribs”. 3) They used wrestlers almost nobody has ever heard of. Granted, they did have a few diamonds in the rough, e.g. Matt Sydal/Evan Bourne, Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black, Colt Cabana/Scotty Goldman but they were mos def no Hulk Hogans, Stone Colds or The Rocks so it was highly probable that only indy fanboys would take the show seriously. 4) The storylines were absolutely retarded and there was really bad acting. They actually made WWE seem like Ring of Honor in comparison. 5) The arena was just little larger than a disc
