How far do volunteer pilots fly?
Because our pilots are volunteering their time, money and the use of an aircraft, Angel Flight Central attempts to coordinate flights so that no one pilot must fly more than approximately 300 miles. This is accomplished by “linking” AFC pilots who are sometimes from other regions. However, pilots wishing to fly further distances have the option of requesting longer flights, thus eliminating one or more of the links.
