How far can the Minnesota Vikings go in the playoffs?
The Vikings have been great against the run all season (multiple seasons in fact) and the combination of Peterson and Taylor make them a tremendous ground threat offensively. Now here’s the scary part…they are starting to show signs of a passing game! If Jackson can keep up the recent solid work, then the Vikings could see some great success in the playoffs. Of course, the tough part is, they still seem to have a big weakness at stopping the pass on defense. Teams like Dallas and Green Bay will really exploit that. In the end, I’d say they will still be underdogs in most conceivable playoff match-ups but I’m willing to bet that most of the other teams don’t really want to meet them in the playoffs due to the known dangers from their running game and the “unknown” danger of their newfound passing game. I can definitely see them pulling off an upset or two.
