It’s just like the question, “how far will a car go on a tank of gas?” The answer depends on the size of the engine, the size of the tank, and how fast you’re driving. The analogy between car distance on a tank of gas, and bike distance on a battery charge can be drawn as follows: 1. The electric bike motor+controller is like the engine in a car. Here in North America, many people (but not all) like high-power bicycles, which is in contrast to other parts of the world. For example, in China and Europe, a 250 watt (W) bike is typical. But we find customers like the higher power and speed of a 400W (or more) motor. It can accelerate and climb faster, but it comes with the tradeoff of consuming the battery faster.
