How far back (in time) may a person be retroactively enrolled in Preferred Care Gold?

0

A person whose health care coverage is sponsored by an employer may be retroactively enrolled in a Gold group up to 90 days back, provided that the application was signed and dated prior to the proposed retroactive effective date. For example: an employer misplaces an application signed and dated 6/15 for an effective date of 7/1. The employer then finds the application and forwards it to Preferred Care on 9/15. Preferred Care will still be able to enroll the member for the 7/1 effective date.
