How far back in history could “DNA” technology link humankind with apes and even dinosaurs?
The interesting thing is that scientists have found that there is more genetic variation in a small tribe of chimpanzees than there is in the entire human race – black, white, oriental, all taken together. We all share the same small genetic pool. Not exactly in favour of evolution, is it? Evolution leads to greater variation. Anthropological studies of other species shows much wider genetic variation than we have seen in humans. It’s an interesting fact. The recent study which links human beings with flatworms comically shows the fact that ALL DNA shares SOME degree of similarity – the basic double helix ribonucleic acids – but mutations in the genetic coding causes traits in the organism to change, and you can link related species to each other by the narrow variation in their genetic code. So no… there’ll never be any evidence (DNA or otherwise) to prove that humans could not have descended from apes, nor will there ever be evidence to prove that we did. But it’s very interesting
