How Far Back do Childrens Sleep Disturbances Go?
The dangers of smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol while pregnant have been long known, but science continually links childhood issues to prenatal substance abuse. A new study shows that small birthing size, common in those who use substances throughout pregnancy, could be an indicator of sleep disorders as the children grow towards adolescence. Sleep disorders in children lead to a variety of other health and behavioral issues including, but not limited to: obesity, depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
