Ok, taking it step by step! The train from Schiphol to Amsterdam Centraal station takes about 20mins and the train station is inside the terminal (by the main exit in the arrivals hall). You can buy the tickets from the yellow machines there or from the booths (50 cents more expensive). It’s about 20/25mins walking to the Anne Frank House from Centraal Station, so if you are without bags and nice weather, then this is fun to do. However, you can also get there by tram or bus as well. Just walk out of the main enterance of the station and then to the right-hand side and take trams 13 or 17, or take bus 170, 171 or 172 . You get off at bus stop ‘Westermarkt’, and walk to your right onto the Prinsengracht. In January it is going to be pretty quiet so there is no need to pre-book the tickets – but this is an option on the website if you wish to buypass any queues that there might be.
