How far away is the campsite from Alton Towers?
The campsite is approximately 5 miles (10 minute drive) away from Alton towers. Further details will be given out nearer the time. What are the age restrictions for the event and do we need to bring ID? The event is for over 18’s only. We highly recommend that you take ID with you to anywhere that you wish to purchase cigarettes or alcohol, it’s just plain common sense. Will there be smoking allowed in the bar? Silly question, everyone should know the law by now! Can we bring our own alcohol? Yes, you can bring alcohol onto the campsite but NOT into the bar! Is there food on site? There is a pub/resturant and also a small cafe/shop. Is there a shop on site? There is a small cafe/shop where you can purcahse essentials. Are there places to wash dry and straighten my hair?
