How far along do you have to be to see the heartbeat on an early ultrasound?
We saw the heartbeat at our first ultrasound in the 6th week. Threenorns is right about ultrasounds, and you really shouldn’t have any unnecessary ones, but don’t be alarmed. Current research shows that having ultrasounds according to current medical standards will not cause a miscarriage.
