How false is this belief that morals and ethics derive from religion or god?
Many people feel that if you introduce religion to someone who hasn’t quite lived a good life that it will instill morals and ethics. Many times it will help, but you don’t necessarily need to have religion to be taught right from wrong. Morals and ethics are usually learned first in the home from the parents, then in school.
