How expensive are Blu-ray players?
As with most any new technology, early players were extremely expensive but prices steadily declined. The price of a Blu-ray player is not yet as low as the least expensive DVD player (and likely won’t reach that point until it too has been around for several years), but the price of a Blu-ray player should no longer be prohibitively expensive to households interested in making the switch.
