How exactly is my Colocated Server Connected?

Your Colocated server will be mounted in a secure enclosed rack within one of our Datacenters. For the 1U and 2U packages, your server MUST include front mounting rack ‘ears’ or an added service fee may apply as per our Service Options and Upgrades page. All Colocated servers are directly connected via 100 Mbit ethernet to a Cisco Catalyst 2950 Switch. A secure VLAN of 5 or more usable IP’s (including your private gateway address) are assigned to your dedicated Cisco Catalyst 2950 Switch port, which your server can utilize. A single power connection (AC 120 volt, US standard conenction up to 300 Watt usage) is provided via an APC remote reboot switch. The APC remote reboot switch is directly connected to our central UPS (uninterpretable power system) and permits you to remotely (via a web browser) reboot your equipment 24 hours a day. Unlike other providers which charge $50 more a month for a remote reboot switch, it is included FREE with TurnKey Colocation.
