How exactly does the student rush for broadway tickets work?
Well, from what I know, you go to the box office (at the theatre) the day of the show and ask for “student rush tickets.” Sometimes the box office releases student rush tickets all day from the time they open, but sometimes they only offer the tickets a few hours before the show begins, so try calling the box office. The box office is where you buy tickets for the particular show (ex: the box office for “wicked”). Make sure you don’t go to tkts b/c they won’t be helpful in this type of situation. They offer discounted tickets but not student rush. You can also get discounted tickets through your school.
