How exactly does The PI Center make money?

0

All of our affiliated law firms work on a contigency fee basis. This means that they don’t make money until the successful conclusion of your case. Therefore, if they don’t win, they are the ones that lost money, not the client. Contingency fees are standard practice in personal injury law, and they are in the best interest of the client, since the client is never out of pocket money. With that said, The PI Center receives a portion of the fee that the lead attorney or law firm handling your case receives. In other words, we receive a referral fee. This does not cause the fee that the lead firm receives to be any higher. It doesn’t affect you and the money you receive in any way. We wanted to explain this, however, to make it clear that our interests are directly aligned with yours since the larger the award you receive, the larger our referral fee.
