How exactly does the duct tape method for wart removal work?

The best method for using the duct tape is to keep the same piece of tape over the wart for five straight days. Then take it off, and with a single-edged razor blade, scrape off (sideways) the white/icky crumbly wart skin. It shouldn’t hurt to do it, and it shouldn’t draw blood, if done correctly (like peeling a potato). You will get rid of a small amount of the wart, in this manner. Then let it air out for a day, and then apply another piece of tape for another five days, and keep repeating the process. It probably will take about six to eight weeks to win the battle. The way the tape works is by superhydrating the skin, making it turn white and crumbly, so that peeling the wart skin becomes easier. You are NOT sufficating anything, since the skin doesn’t have any lungs!!!
