How exactly does the Building Horizons Construction technology program work?
Building Horizons works in conjunction with Riverside County Office of Education Regional Occupational Program (ROP) http://www.rcoe.k12.ca.us/studentPrograms/careerTech.html and the local cities of Coachella Valley, as well as the local high schools in order to educate our valley’s youth and provide affordable housing. Working primarily with high school students Building Horizons builds two homes a year, which are then sold to low to moderate income families. We are providing hands-on vocational training to our young people while providing the community with affordable housing.
