Distance learning allows its participants to study at their own convenience, without requiring them to attend any timetabled classes. Hence this type of learning can be easily combined with work and family commitments. Unlike e learning it allows those participants as well who either do not have much access to internet or they do not feel very comfortable studying online. Once you take up a distance learning course at BOLC, you are assigned your personal tutor, your course materials are sent to you by post and you get support from your tutor through email or discussion forums. You get options either to submit your assignments through email, fax or by post. Your tutor marks the assignments and sends you feedback for your result.
