How effective is the epoxy grout against internal pressure loading?
Loading has been demonstrated by verifying that the repair was stronger than the pipe itself. The maximum test pressure was always limited by yielding of the test vessel outside the encircled area (occurring at about 150 percent SMYS). As well as verifying the absolute integrity of this repair technique, the test confirms the repaired section would accommodate hydrostatic retesting.
