How effective is stabilized chlorine dioxide?
Stabilized chlorine dioxide is very effective against all kinds of microorganisms, bacteria, spore formers and algae. It is effective against Listeria, Salmonella, and E. coli, just to name a few. It does not take a large amount of product to get a 99.999% kill. Anywhere from 20 to 200 ppm will get a significant log reduction on a majority of bacteria.
