How Effective Is Nioxin?
The efficacy of Nioxin depends on what it is, exactly, that the person in question wants the product to do. As far as producing volume, styling control and healthy scalp skin, the Nioxin products seem to work extremely well. Of course, most expensive haircare products do tend to work well for their intended purpose–otherwise they wouldn’t sell. Unfortunately, Nioxin, as a cure for baldness, is not very effective. In essence, the Nioxin products simply add more volume to the hair, making it appear as though there were more hair. For those with serious male pattern baldness, however, Nioxin will not stem the tide of hair loss nor will it reverse the process. There are far more effective products, such as Propecia or Rogaine, to treat serious hair loss for those willing to pay the money required.
