How effective is monolaurin, that can be found in VCO, to SARS?
The corona virus causing SARS is also lipid coated and is similar to the organisms causing the FLU and pneumonia. Patients infected with SARS also show similar symptoms to those suffering of flu and pneumonia. Therefore, monolaurin and monocaprin, both of which can be found in VCO, may yet be the potential cure for SARS.
