How effective is Holts RADweld to seal radiator leaks?

I’ve used it, and it worked for me on two vehicles so far. It’s ideal to buy time while you source the actual spare parts you need. In my case, it sealed the radiator base while I ordered a replacement. Good for leaks in solid items. not good for hoses or anything that moves. What actualy happened with my rad – is that it cracked completely at the bottom, and I lost most of the water. I ended up buying a 5ltr bottle of water, and 6 eggs. Mixed the whites of two eggs with the water, and poured it in. This sealed the leak untill I got home and replaced the rad. Just needed flushing out after that, but excellent in an emergency – and just 12p. Have heard this actually works for years!
