Clinical trials demonstrated that BeneFIX is effective in stopping bleeding episodes. In 56 patients with severe or moderate hemophilia B who received BeneFIX for on-demand control of bleeding episodes, 81% of the episodes were resolved after a single infusion.1 Of all infusions used to treat these episodes, 88% were rated as providing an excellent or good clinical response.
