How effect are sonic devices for keeping birds away?
Like any other bird deterrents such as fake owls and rubber snakes, birds become accustomed to the sonic devices after a short period and learn to ignore them. The only sound devices we know to work are called “poppers”. These are used in vineyards and fire off sporadic detonations. Using one of these babies in populated areas would surely get the attention of your neighborhood.
