How easy is it to live in Thailand?
There are a growing number of Western/Thai families living in Thailand. This is partly due to the easy pace of life for those that have local financial security. Whilst the rules on extended stays have recently been tightened, it is still a relatively easy, low cost process, the main element being your ability to provide financial support for yourself from a verifiable source, such as a pension, or other regular international fund transfers. As a habitat, Thailand has most of the ‘western’ facilities that you take for granted, but at a vastly reduced cost. Coupled with a tropical climate, Thailand is a free and easy environment and we recommend that you seriously consider relocating here, should your circumstances allow.
