How easy is it to balance the Eng Sci workload and extracurricular activities?
That depends on how much you like sleeping. Just kidding, folks. There’s no magic formula to tell you how much time to devote to your studies and how much time to devote to everything else. It is certainly possible to get involved in extracurriculars and maintain good academic standing. Yes, it may take you a bit of time to figure out what the right balance for you is – that’s why marks generally increase from year to year – but everyone figures it out eventually. There are a lot of very involved Eng Scis! EngSoc is just crawling with us – your current VP Academic, VP Finance, EAA Chair, EAA Men’s coordinator, WISE something-or-other, Community Outreach Director, Bnad Leedur, and EWB Co-President to name a few.
