How easy/difficult is it to install Simply PUR?
The Simply PUR system is relatively simple to install — no more difficult than a faucet installation. All hoses, connectors and mounting hardware are included in the box. Below is a brief summary of the installation process. See the Owners Manual for complete details. • Mount the filter spout to the sink/counter top. This takes one mounting nut. • Mount the below the sink filtration system to the cabinet wall in a location that is easy to access for replacing filters (typically just inside the cabinet door). This is the most difficult part of the installation and requires 2 screws to be installed in the cabinet wall to support the mounting bracket. Install the filter and batteries (included) into the filter system. • Make hose connections. Most connections use Quick Connect® or other fittings that do not require tools. • Connect the system to the cold water supply.
