How early can kids start learning a foreign language?

0

They can start as early as they start picking up languages. Kids are really adept that way. In fact, the earlier you start, the easier it is for them to learn another language! Really, why do you think its so hard for adults? Our brain processing has changed since then. Kids, at one point, are learning like 50 words a day! And to make my point, this child of a German Psychologist and a French woman grew up knowing both French and German, and learned from a VERY early age that if you wanted to speak with Dad, you spoke German, if you wanted to speak with Mom, you spoke French… how cool is that? Not only did the kid know 2 languages, but knew when each one is properly used and learned how to categorize both at the same time!
