Johnny Latch by Jake® is made from stamped and formed aluminum for durability. It is “clear” anodized for an attractive, long-lasting finish. The lever spindle has a shear strength of 3,000 pounds. We feel it is “durable” enough to warrant each Johnny Latch by Jake® for the life of the installation! We will replace ANY Johnny Latch by Jake® that fails for ANY reason.
