WinX Software has put much effort into making ZipX as compatible and easy to use as can be. Therefore the user interface is designed to be easy to follow, just like that of WinZip’s. In terms of compatibility, ZipX supports all the compression methods that are normally used in creating ZIP archives. These include Deflate, Deflate64(tm), BZip2 as well as the new PPMd compression method introduced in WinZip 10. ZipX can also extract files that have been compressed using PKZIP’s DCL compression method.
