How does youtube copyrighting work?
There shouldn’t be a problem using music that is “your own”. Please note: – If “my own” music consists of music that you composed, created and recorded yourself… then it truely is yours and you are free to do as you wish. – If by “my own” you actually mean music that is commercially available at retail music establishments that you purchased… that’s a whole different thing. If it is a CD, DVD or paid download, then you only have the rights to listen to the music. You are prohibited from reproducing it and/or distributing it. If the lable contains ©, ®, ‘All rights reserved’, ‘Unauthorized duplication prohibited’, or anything even closely similar to the aforementioned… you can’t use it. To have access to copyrighted music, have your lawyers contact the copyright holders and work out a deal.
