How does www.projectorreviews.com decide which projectors to review?
There are multiple factors in determining which projectors are reviewed: First of all, I attempt to do projector reviews of the most popular, and best projectors in each price range. However we are limited to being able to get our hands on the products, and often we are in a long waiting queue for product. To help out with that we have established what we call a Partner Program with the various manufacturers. From such a partner program, we provide some premium placements on our website, in exchange for a steady stream of projectors to review, on a timely basis. This has worked well, with companies like Optoma, Epson, Infocus, Panasonic, etc., getting us most review projectors right before the projectors start shipping, or shortly after. The partner program also provides us with better interfacing with key people at those manufacturers, which in turn, translates into getting answers quicker to my questions, and in one case, with the Epson Cinema 550 for example, when a problem was disc
