How does WizFolio handle duplicate items?
WizFolio has an automatic duplicate check based on Title + Number of Authors + Sequence of Author’s Last Names. If a duplicate based on the above rule is found, conflicting values in different fields will be displayed for user to decide which values to use. For example if the Abstract field is empty and the new item has data in the Abstract field, then the data from the new item will be inserted into the existing item. In cases where we find two similar items having different bibliographic data, we will display the conflicting bibliographic data to you and you can choose which bibliographic data to keep.
