How does Windchill PartsLink fit into the Windchill strategy?
The PTC Windchill Solutions strategy is to provide a complete portfolio of collaborative product commerce (CPC) solutions that address specific business challenges that occur at various points in the product lifecycle. It is intended that these Windchill solution offerings will each be comprised of Web-based software and a set of pre-defined service and support options. Windchill PartsLink is designed to be used without substantial customization (i.e. “out-of-the-box”) and with minimal implementation effort. Moreover, Windchill PartsLink is available via a hosted model. Windchill PartsLink is the second solution available under this solutions definition. The first solution offering was Windchill ProjectLink.
