How does WEC view the role of the sending church?
• The church is the primary agent for completing Christ’s commission. • The church identifies and prepares cross-cultural workers. Those who come from solid, active churches are generally best equipped to serve in cross-cultural settings. • The church prays for its workers. Prayer opens doors, changes lives and establishes new churches through the power of the Holy Spirit. Our workers need adequate and informed prayer to be effective. • The church supports its workers financially.
