How does WCPSS manage transportation? Who determines and manages the transportation for my childs route?
Wake County transportation is divided into districts that are usually based on the area high schools. Supervisors at each site manage the transportation for the busses in their assigned district. They are responsible for stops, drivers, maintenance and safety concerns, etc. At Hunter, the primary supervisory responsibility is students (safety, discipline, field trips, etc.).
