How does WBT Manager™s billing feature work?
WBT Manager provides billing at the course level and the individual student level. When a course is defined, it can be set up as Not Billed, or can be billed By Course or By Hour. The price per unit is included in the course definition. A billing code of the user’s choice may be included to tie to their own accounting system. Several standard billing reports are available. When a student is enrolled, billing options default to whatever is in the course definition. However, the billing mode, billing code, and price per unit can be changed for that specific student. If a user wanted to set up different billing schemes for a course based on some criterion like what department a student is in, they could create two different courses with the identical lesson structure but a different billing definition. Then they could assign one version of the course to Accounting and a different version to Sales or whatever. The only difference would be how much the departments were charged per student.
