Warning says “don’t let your girl rule/leave you”. Other poems such as Question, Ultimatum, and Sister talks about how men rule the relationship and/or how women find more than one man to support them. Ultimatum says I’m paying your bills. Tell me if you have some one else or i’ll cut you of your rent. Question is about a woman asking a man if he can do what her other man can’t do, to not only love her but to support her as well. Sister talks about Marie finding another man to support her.
