How does Walking Tree select homestay families?
More than anything, we select families based on their sincere desire to host our students, and in many cases, students will be staying with families that have already received our travelers and proven themselves wonderful hosts. Walking Tree in-country staff spends significant time with all host families prior to the group’s arrival to ensure each will provide a welcoming and comfortable environment and that they understand our expectations and rules regarding safety and behavior.
